Awarapan 2 saw a sharp decline on its sixth day at the box office. The Emraan Hashmi starrer earned ₹5.71 crore nett (₹6.74 crore gross) on Wednesday, a significant drop from its weekday numbers.
The film managed to sell around 2.95 lakh tickets across 11,354 shows with an overall occupancy of just 11.9%. This is a clear weekday slowdown after the Independence Day holiday boost that powered its opening.
With this, Awarapan 2’s total India nett collection now stands at an estimated ₹125+ crore in 6 days. The film has already crossed the ₹100 crore milestone and is eyeing the ₹150 crore mark by the end of its second weekend.
The big question now is whether Awarapan 2 can hold enough screens and shows heading into Week 2, especially with new releases around the corner. The drop from Day 5 to Day 6 is around 30%, which is expected for a mid-week regular day but needs a solid weekend revival to stay in the race.
