Spirit marks the first collaboration between Prabhas and filmmaker Sandeep Reddy Vanga. The action drama has drawn attention for its lead pairing and the director’s previous work, but some key details—especially the release date—need careful handling because listings do not currently agree.
Spirit release date: what is confirmed?
Release-date listings conflict. Some movie calendars have carried an early-2027 date, while Bollywood Hungama’s current cast-and-crew page lists 29 October 2027. Until the makers issue a definitive dated announcement, The News Harsh is treating the release date as not firmly confirmed rather than repeating one date as settled fact.
Spirit cast
- Prabhas
- Triptii Dimri
- Vivek Oberoi
- Prakash Raj
- Kanchana
These names appear in the current cast-and-crew listing. Character names and the complete supporting cast should be updated when the production team confirms them.
Director and crew
Director: Sandeep Reddy Vanga. Producers: Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Pranay Reddy Vanga and Prabhakar Reddy Vanga are listed among the producers. The project is associated with T-Series and Bhadrakali Pictures. Current crew information also lists Raj Thota as cinematographer, Harshavardhan Rameshwar for background music, Suresh Selvarajan as production designer and Supreme Sundar as action director.
What is Spirit about?
Spirit is described as an action drama. Reports have characterised Prabhas’s role as a police officer, but a full official synopsis and detailed character description should be awaited. This page will avoid presenting leaked or speculative plot points as confirmed story information.
Why Spirit is attracting attention
The film combines Prabhas’s pan-Indian following with Vanga’s intense, character-driven approach to action drama. The pairing creates expectations around performance and tone, but the final trailer will be the first reliable way to judge the film’s style and narrative direction.
